GIRLS’ WILDCATS

Our Wildcats football programme was finally launched back in January 2020 after a long anticipated wait due to the global pandemic. We were delighted to have special guests, Dean Davenport (Crystal Palace Women’s first team manager) and one of the first team players Leigh Nicol to the opening of our centre.

The Wildcats programme is designed for girls aged 5-11 years old who want to gain more football experience playing alongside other girls their age. Alongside this opportunity, we have also teamed up with grassroots football club R&R to offer a progressive pathway into a competitive team environment representing the club in the Surrey Youth Girls League.

This partnership has been a huge success since the opening, with many of these girls playing structured football not only at the weekend but also representing their school football team. Also another success story, has seen our very own Amelia sign a contract with Brighton Hove Albion RTC and continues to flourish with the club.

With the recent success of the England Lionesses and the growing interest of women’s football, there is no better time to get started.
